Afternoon Hike to Daunting Rock

At 6:00 pm we will meet at an open space at the intersection of Roads 707A and 707AF (please click on map graphic). We'll hike from there past the Brady Rocks, summit Daunting Rock, take a break, then head back to the vehicles. There will be an optional "side hike" past Dana Rock if the group desires.

This is a 2.5-mile hike that includes mostly single track trails with some sage covered off-trail areas in and around Daunting Rock. (A destination map is in the photo section.)

Weather forecast is partly sunny, 64 degrees, with light winds. Best to bring a light rain jacket, just in case.
