Sunday Hike to Klaus Rock

At 3:00 pm, meet at the Turtle Rock parking area on Vedauwoo Road (Road 700) (Take I-80 to get there). Please see map.

This hike is about 5-miles, includes dirt roads, single track trails, a portion of sage covered terrain, and a light rock scramble up to Klaus Rock. We'll take a break on the rock and loop back to the vehicles. (A proposed route map is in the photos section.)

The weather is forecast as mostly cloudy, 57 degrees, with 20 mph winds. Best to bring an extra layer.
