In Chapter 3, Krishna explains the importance of Karma yoga to Arjuna-- either he takes the role in the moment as the "non-doer" of his action, or at least he surrenders the fruits of his actions to the divine.
However, Arjuna is still confused about why Krishna is recommending action for him on the one hand, yet praising wisdom on the other. In Chapter 4, Krishna will reconcile this apparent contradiction for Arjuna (and us!). This chapter discusses the role of "un-activity", the multiple modes of sacrifice, the roles we should take based on our tendencies and much more!
