Have you ever thought about how our food is grown, and the impact it has on the land, animals, and the world? 🌍 This event is a guided tour of a farm that asked itself the same question and decided to radically transform its operations.

----------------------------------------
Conventional food production systems often treat land and animals as industrial resources, optimized primarily for seasonal yield and focused on maximizing profit.

Glück-Hof, a 28-hectare farm on the Baldegg hills above Baden 🏔️, embraces the vision of Enkeltauglichkeit, an ethical commitment to cultivating an agricultural ecosystem that remains sustainable and resilient for generations to come.

At its core lies the conviction that peaceful coexistence with nature and animals is possible 🕊️. The project has transformed a former cattle-fattening farm with feed cultivation into a vegan organic farm and an animal sanctuary (currently under development).

For our next gathering, we will leave the urban center behind for a guided visit to Glück-Hof, where we will learn firsthand how local food production can be combined with animal welfare.🌿

----------------------------------------
🌾Our Guided Tour at Glück-Hof
Our visit begins with a guided tour of Glück-Hof, led by the people actively shaping the farm’s transformation. They will share the story of Glück-Hof, its history, and its current reality as an animal sanctuary.

We will gain insights into the farm’s vegetable cultivation 🥕🌽 and the Lebenshof/Sanctuary itself. At the sanctuary, we will spend some intentional time with the animals who live there in freedom and peace. We will meet former dairy cows, goats, and donkeys 🐄🐐🫏. This will allow us to observe and interact with the animal residents in a respectful, non-exploitative environment. We will see firsthand how ethical animal care is integrated into the daily rhythms of the farm.

We will also learn how permaculture and regenerative agriculture work in practice: how the farm designs around natural patterns, keeps the soil alive, and tries to build something that gets healthier over time rather than depleting it.

Afterwards, we will conclude the afternoon with a small plant-based Apéro featuring homemade snacks and drinks from the farm 🌻🍉. The Apéro will provide a relaxed space for conversation and reflection on the guiding values of Glück-Hof ☀️. Together, we will explore how personal well-being and community resilience connect to the landscape we have just experienced.

[Important Note on Fees: The fee is required by the farm to compensate their time and effort in organising an exclusive, guided tour and Apéro for our group. To avoid no-shows, it will be required to pay it in advance.
Payment details will follow soon. ]
