River Walk + Dessert 🍨

Now that Spring is finally here, let's get outside!

We will be walking along the Water of Leith path from Balerno, then joining the canal at Slateford to end at Heavenly Desserts in Fountain Park, which has a whole menu of ice cream, waffles, etc. It is not a vegan place but they have a separate vegan menu with a lot of options. I will be getting the 12.06pm 44 bus from Haymarket, getting off at Balerno High School, or you can meet us there at 12.40pm.

The walk is just over 7 miles and is mostly flat. There is a toilet at the Visitor Centre about 2/3 of the way along. Bring water and snacks and dress for the weather - if it's raining I will probably walk anyway! You can also meet us at Heavenly Desserts at around 3pm. If you have any access needs let me know and I will do my best to accommodate!
