National Animal Rights Day (NARD) is taking place all around the world on June 1st and will be taking place in Museumplein in Amsterdam!
There will be a ceremony followed by a vegan picnic potluck 🌱 The ceremony usually lasts around an hour.
- A memorial ceremony with speeches to commemorate billions of animals who die every year by human hands
- A celebration for the progress that has been made towards ending the suffering of animals and bringing forth their freedom
- A vegan picnic potluck (everyone’s bringingg food to share)
📍What to bring
- vegan food to share 🥗 + a plate and utensils for yourself 🍽️
- pincnic blanket or a mat 🧺
- There is no dresscode but there are T-shirts that can be purchased but you are not oblidged to buy them
