What we’re about

We have frequent dinners and other events at vegan restaurants etc around Brisbane, where all vegans and anyone vegan-friendly is invited to attend. We want Queensland vegans to feel like we're one connected, supportive vegan family.

VSQ is brand new to Meetup, but well established on Facebook. We're experimenting to see if continuing with Meetup too is worth it, so support us here too if you'd like us to keep the VSQ Meetup group going.

Merry Vegan Christmas Everyone!!
You’re invited to VSQ’s Traditional Vegan Christmas Day Picnic!!

Thursday 25 December from 11am.

Yes! We are celebrating another fun and happy Cruelty Free Christmas! And everyone is invited!

Christmas Day can be a difficult time for Vegans as we feel for all the millions of animals killed just for these celebrations.

But for a number of years The Vegan Society of Queensland has been celebrating this day and many other important dates, showing the world that we can also celebrate and enjoy special dates with delicious and nutritious Plant Based Foods.

Join our healthy and truly compassionate Christmas tradition for the benefit of the Animals, our Health and the Environment!

We will play, chat, celebrate and enjoy delicious Vegan Christmas Dishes with a friendly and fun bunch of Vegans!

You can bring your best Vegan food creations to share, plus your picnic toys, musical instruments, and join the celebrations!

Setting up from 11am and celebrating till 4pm at the Captain Burke Park, Kangaroo Point, Brisbane Qld.

Only Vegan food and drinks are consumed at these events.

We are excited and hope that more of you can enjoy this exciting event too!
