All the BX Folks looking for resources this one is for you! And all of us lol. We have been invited to go on a hike Saturday morning at La Finca, an Urban Farm led by Black and Latina Women!
This will be a short hike followed by some light refreshments and meditation/journaling. There will be some vegan food available. Feel free to bring snacks as well. Please read carefully below. Keep in mind this is not a VOC event so there will be other folks there. I will be wearing a Crystal Crown with an African Print back pack so you can find me!

Women's Urban Hike and Meditation Journaling Session for Black and Brown Women! Refreshments provided!
Saturday, July 28, 9 AM - 11am
Join the women of La Finca del Sur (women of color led urban farm) and other amazing POC women for a relaxing morning hike to reconnect with the healing power of nature and sisterhood. We will be walking to Franz Sigel Park and back (a 15 min/ .6 mi one way), After the walk, we will reconvene in a divine green space to practice self-care, meditation and reflection through journaling and sharing our stories. Participation is free,
and refreshments will be provided.
Join La Finca del Sur on Saturday, July 28th for a morning of reflection from 9am - 11am.
Take some time out of your weekend to slow down, meditate, write, walk, etc. La Finca is a space of healing and life - explore it with other like-minded women!
La Fince del Sur is located near 110 East 138th Street in the Bronx.
Bring comfortable shoes to walk in and water!
Location: La Finca Del Sur is easily accessible via public transit. Just take the express 4/5 train to 138th St. The farm is located directly across the street from the train station. 138th st and Grand concourse (across the street from the train stop) (next stop after 125th st)
Time: 9am -11am
