Catskill Animal Sanctuary Events

Hi everyone,

I know that I just posted two events for the same day, but they were both planned without me, and I wanted to let you know about both of them. It might be possible to do both, if things are timed right!

I also want to let you know about a few events that Catskill Animal Sanctuary is having. CAS founder Kathy Stevens is a hero of mine, and I love the work they're doing, so I like supporting them wherever possible.

Tuesday, September 17, New York City: Meet, Greet & Eat with Kathy Stevens at Peacefood Cafe (downtown).

From 5:[masked]pm, Kathy Stevens will sign her latest book Animal Camp: Reflections on a Decade of Love, Hope, and Veganism at Catskill Animal Sanctuary and share the latest news from the farm. Enjoy light snacks provided by the generous folks at Peacefood, and then stay for dinner with Kathy! Your CAS membership card gets you 10% off your dinner tab. RSVP to [address removed] by Friday, Sept 13.

Saturday, October 5, Saugerties, NY: CAS 12th Annual Shindig at Catskills Animal Sanctuary.

11:00am - 4:00pm, Spend the day with family and friends at our beautiful 110-acre sanctuary where there is something for everyone to enjoy. Meet farm animals with heartwarming stories of rescue and transformation, take the kids on a hay ride, chow down on delicious food from local restaurants, hone your culinary skills at vegan cooking demos, shop vegan products from local and regional vendors, listen to live music by emikoTwo Dollar Goat. This year's featured guest speakers are Victoria Moran, author of Main Street Vegan, and CAS's Founder/Director Kathy Stevens. For ticket info and event line up visit

Tuesday, October 15, New York City: Book Reading & Signing with Kathy Stevens at Moo Shoes.
6.00pm: Kathy Stevens will read from and sign her latest book Animal Camp: Reflections on a Decade of Love, Hope, and Veganism at Catskill Animal Sanctuary at Moo Shoes. Veg out with other animal lovers and enjoy delicious vegan snacks generously provided by Candle Café and Beyond Sushi.
