Tucson Vegan Meetup Message Board › Thai Vegan opening soon!

Thai Vegan opening soon!

This is HUGE — Tucson is about to have another all-vegan restaurant! You might remember back in November, JC Corcoran was scouting location for Thai Vegan. Well, he found one! Thai Vegan is opening in early April at 3607 N. Campbell Ave, near Prince and Campbell.
JC Corcoran, president of Thai Vegan says that the Founder, Chef Pat, "has served as a Thai Monk for 28 years where he perfected all of his sauces and recipes. His food is arguably the best Thai food in the world. If you want a taste extravaganza, then make plans on eating at Thai Vegan!"
Chef Pat is also supportive of the local vegan/AR community - there will be some space set aside for literature and things like the free movie screening flyers. The exact opening date in early April is soon to be announced!
The next free vegan movie screening at The Loft Cinema, by the way, won't be until this fall, but it will be a great film, Speciesm The Movie.

I've been meaning to let everyone know that JC told me there could be up to a couple months delay in Thai Vegan opening!! :(

Chef Pat was ready to open and then the permitting inspection found issues with the grease trap as well as the hood ventilation and it will be very time consuming to remedy.

Has there been any updates yet for what's happening with the restaurant?
