Curious how a watch actually works—but not sure where to start? Join us at Abingdon Co. for a small-group Intro to Watchmaking class designed for complete beginners.

This educational, hands-on evening breaks down the fundamentals of watchmaking in clear, approachable language. We’ll explore what makes up a watch, how different movements work, and how time is measured and displayed inside the case. No prior watch knowledge is required—this class is built for curiosity, not expertise.

Guests will have the opportunity to see real watch components up close, handle demonstration movements, and ask questions in a relaxed, supportive environment. The evening concludes with a guided try-on of Abingdon watches to connect what you’ve learned with real-world wear and function.

This is a learning experience designed to build understanding, confidence, and appreciation for the mechanics behind the watches we wear every day.
