Midweek Reset - Easy Stroll Around Lone Mountain
Details
Ready..Set...RESET!!
This loop is perfect for a midweek reset.
This event is AT-YOUR-OWN-PACE, so you can go at a speed that feels comfortable for you. Take advantage of hiking with a group, and feel free to fall in step with someone else and socialize along the way. Let's try a 6:00pm start time this week. That will give us enough light for those who want to do 2 laps. Please make sure you bring water!
Lone Mountain Loop: We will be hiking around the base of Lone Mountain. This hike is 2.3 miles, and although it is not very scenic, the wide trail and gradual elevation make this the perfect setting for a midweek reset. We will go counter clockwise, starting from the equestrian parking area so we can tackle the incline as soon as we start. I will be going around 2x for a total of 4.6 miles. The 2nd lap is optional.
Terrain & Scenery: This is a typical desert trail with the usual dirt and rocks. The trail is wide and easy to navigate. The wide trail is perfect for socializing.
Trail Type: Loop
Parking: We will park in the paved parking area next to the equestrian lot. Bathrooms a quick walk into the park.
Directions: If you put "Lone Mountain Equestrian Park" in your navi, you should find us. The address is 4445 N Jensen St. There are a couple of entrances - look for the equestrian sign. Drive around past the dog parks. I will be standing next to my silver Honda Civic.
*Guests must be 21. No fur babies.
