Emerald Cove and Willow Beach Kayaking and Picnic
Details
Join us for this fun kayaking trip! After kayaking, we will have a picnic on the beach. THIS IS NOT A TRIP FOR FIRST-TIME KAYAKERS! This is a kayak rental, not a tour. DO NOT SIGN UP UNLESS YOU ARE CERTAIN YOU CAN ATTEND.
Tucked between towering canyon walls along the Colorado River lies one of nature’s most surreal hidden gems: Emerald Cave. As sunlight pierces through the narrow opening, the water inside the cave lights up in vibrant hues of green, glowing like liquid jade. It’s a scene so striking, so otherworldly, it feels like stepping into a dream. The reflections dance across the walls, shifting with the current, making every visit slightly different and uniquely beautiful.
After kayaking, around 2pm the group will have a picnic on Willow Beach!
Arrive at the kayak rental location 15 minutes before the 10am rental.
WE ENCOURAGE CARPOOLING!
**There is a $25 fee per car to enter the park. Vanessa is able to take a few people in her car. If you want to carpool, please comment if you are looking to ride in someone else's car, or if you can take others, and we will help coordinate.
There’s no cell service at Willow Beach, so plan ahead, download directions, and arrive on time.
DO NOT RENT YET! IF WE GET 10 PEOPLE WHO WANT A SINGLE KAYAK, WE CAN GET THEM FOR $55 EACH. (5 people we can get for $60 each) About a week before, we will decide if we have enough to do a group rental, and we will contact all members for payment. If we don't get a group price, the rental is $69 for single and $139 for double.
