Join us as we revisit this fun and beautiful trail, this time without 25 mph winds! We will start at 9:00 as we attempt to beat the heat. This hike starts at the Middle Oak Creek Trailhead. We will hike counter clockwise around the knoll.

Trek Around The Knoll: We will follow the Middle Oak Creek Trail, drop down into the canyon then hop onto the South Oak Creek Trail. We will follow the trail all the way around the knoll then make our way back. This hike is about 4.5 miles.

Terrain & Scenery: This trail has a little bit of everything...regular dirt and rocks, some boulders in the wash, and crossing Oak Creek. There are several elevation changes along the way with a total elevation gain of 384'. We will hike in open desert and then what feels like the woods.

Trail Type: Lollipop Loop

Parking: Parking is at the Middle Oak Creek Trailhead. There is parking on both sides of the street. No bathrooms.

Directions: If you put "Middle Oak Creek Trailhead" in your navi, you will find us. It is 0.6 miles after the Red Rock Loop exit (heading west). I will be waiting by my white Honda CRV.

This is a group hike and will be at a pace that encourages socializing, taking pictures, and enjoying the beautiful landscape.

(We will be heading back up to the Spring Mountain trails next week.)

*Guests must be 21. No fur babies.
