What would Vegas be without a Showgirl?! Trail that is! Join the Sundays at 10 Hiking Series in the cool Spring Mountains as we follow the Upper Showgirl Trail. This is great hike for advanced beginners and intermediate hikers.

The trail head is located on the Lucky Strike Trail Rd., off of Deer Creek Rd.

We will start at an elevation of around 8000' making it at least 20° cooler. The hike is 4.1 miles with a total elevation gain of about 377'.

We will start our hike at the Juniper Trail. The trail has a few low elevation ups and downs in the beginning, gaining about 100' in the first mile.We will then head up to our highest point, going around the circle, then back down. We will hop on the Original Showgirl Trail for about a mile, then make our way back.

Terrain & Scenery: This is typical mountain dirt trail with some loose gravel. There are patches of shade as we hike through the trees. Deer have been spotted (by me) in the area.

Trail Type: Lollipop Loop

Parking: There is a VERY SMALL parking lot at the trailhead. We will meet at the Mt. Charleston Visitor Center and carpool the last 6.6 miles The fewer cars we have, the better. There are bathrooms at the Visitor Center as well as 1 at the trailhead.

Directions: If you put Mt. Charleston Visitor Center in your navi. you will find us. The address is 2525 Kyle Canyon Rd. I will be standing next to my white Honda CRV. We will meet at 9:30 and carpool at 9:45.

This is a group hike and will be at a pace that encourages socializing, taking pictures, and enjoying the beautiful landscape.

*Guests must be 21. No fur babies.
