PJ 5K Run & 1-Mile Walk thru Glittering Lights

Grab your warm pajamas and join us as we walk, run or jog our way around the Las Vegas Motor Speedway during the Glittering Lights display. This event is a great way to bring in the holiday season and support local charities.

Charity Info: This charity was established in 1999 and has been running strong for 27 years, raising more than $5 million dollars for children in the southern Nevada region. 100% of the net profits go directly to established and approved local non-profit organizations.

Event details: The event is on Sunday, November 15 and starts at 4:30 pm. I will arrive at 3:30 to check in and find a spot to meet. You can walk or run the 5K lap or walk the 1-mile lap. All options take you through the glittering lights display. Everyone receives a Race Bib and a Finisher’s Medal (when you cross the finish line). There will be prizes and raffles. Onesies, flannels and any other fun pajamas are not required but strongly encouraged.

Ready, Set, Go!: The event kicks off with the runners. Joe will be the host for the runners in the group. After the runners start, those who want to walk the 5K will be allowed to start. Join me as we walk at a social pace, enjoying the lights. Anyone who wants to walk the 1-mile lap will be the last group to start.

Race Packet Pickup: If you selected the Vegas Vibes Meetup group when registering, our packets will be together. I will be picking up the packets on November 12 and distributing on the day of the event. If you did not select the group, you will have to pick up your packet.
Please leave a message if you paid and if you registered under the group so I can keep track of the race packets I will be picking up.

*Please give yourself time to park and walk to the entrance. There will be music and other activities before the event, so arriving early can add to the fun.
