Calico Loop Scramble, West Slope

Another short and scenic loop route that is loaded with Class 3 scrambling and some very exposed Class 4. Expect about about 2 1/2 hours.

MOST OF ROUTE WILL BE IN SHADE

Note: My west slope summer Calico routes are highly varied, rarely the same twice.

Pace slow-moderate. About 1.5 miles roundtrip with 560' of vertical gain.

REQUIRED: ADVANCED scrambling skill/experience.

Helmets advised

No guests, pets, children.

Limit: 10. Everyone goes on the waitlist initially so I can assess your qualifications for the outing.
