Southern Utah Series: Scout Cave, Snow Canyon (St George, UT) - Exploratory

📌 The Scout Cave trail just south of Snow Canyon State Park is a great mix of easy and moderate. It passes over lava flow fields, stream beds, and Navajo Sandstone rocks. The plan is to hike to the cave, explore a bit, continue beyond the cave, and return via the same route. I have not done this hike so I am posting it as "exploratory."

No pets, children or guests. Everyone starts on the Wait list. You must be on the Going list to attend.

We will meet in St George at the motel that I'm staying at for the 3-day weekend: Coronada Inn & Suites, 559 E St George Blvd. Look for a red SUV in the parking lot; we will form carpools since Snow Canyon State Park has a $20 per car fee for non-residents of Utah. I'm not sure if we go through a fee booth for this trail or not. We will leave at 10:00am Utah time (1 hour ahead of Vegas time) for the short drive to our trailhead.
