📌 We will hike up a 4WD dirt road to a ridge line, turn right and traverse to Hollow Rock Peak. It's about 2 miles of class 1 trail and then a little less than 1/2 mile of sandstone scrambling. The view from the top is awesome and there is an optional class 4 climb of about 20 feet to the actual peak. I will bring webbing, but someone would have to free climb if there's no fixed rope there.

This hike is cross-posted with 52 Peak Club Explorer's Deck.

Please arrive 10 minutes early; we will form carpools and leave at 7:30am for the short drive to Mountain Springs Pass. If we have 4WD or HCV trucks, we can avoid a half mile each way of hiking on a dirt road.

Some of us we may be going to the Mountain Springs Saloon (aka Biker Bar) after the hike for lunch. Carpools will be formed accordingly.
