This is a nice relaxing, enjoyable hike. A great chance to get out on the trail and do a bit of socializing, at the same time. Hike is open to everyone. However, please know you're hiking capability and know that you must, be able to stay with the group pace.
Temps are a bit higher right now and possible rain predicted for this day. PLEASE BE AWAR OF THIS.
Bring your rain jacket and your smile. I will be requiring that you wear both.

GEAR:
Hiking boots or trail shoes are required
Trekking poles and gloves are optional
You should always carry a windbreaker or rain jacket, warm gloves and hat for any hikes in the Mt Charleston area.
No pets. Everyone starts on the Waitlist. You must be on the Going list to attend.
Meet in the Santa Fe Casino East parking garage. There are two parking garages, go to the southeast one closer to Lone Mtn Rd, not the northwest one visible from Hwy 95. We will form carpools for the drive to the trailhead. Each passenger is asked to pay their driver $5.

  • The meetup start time is the time we plan to depart the parking garage, so please arrive early (10 minutes is recommended).
