ᨒ↟ Mt. Whitney 𖠰𖥧 4-Day Backpacking Adventure
Details
At 14,505 ft, Mt. Whitney is the highest point in the contiguous United States—and this adventure allows us to experience the beauty, challenge, and high-country scenery of the Eastern Sierra.
Over four days, we'll trek through the Sierra backcountry, establishing camp near Consultation Lake before making our way to the summit. After reaching the summit of Mt. Whitney, we'll return to Consultation Lake, later make our way to Outpost Camp for our final night, and exit at Whitney Portal.
This is a high-altitude wilderness backpacking trip requiring participants to carry their own overnight gear, food, water/water-treatment system, and personal supplies for four days. Prior backpacking experience, appropriate conditioning, and comfort hiking at elevation are expected.
All trip arrangements—including permits, participants, lodging, & transportation—are finalized.
