Fitness Series - Hike 1: Bunny to Cat in the Hat & Down Fossil Canyon Loop
Details
Before You Join Us: To help us get everyone on the trail safely and efficiently, please complete the VegasHikers participant waiver before the hike. Completing it in advance helps speed up the check-in process so we can spend less time on paperwork and more time enjoying the trail. Click to open➡️Participant Waiver
If you have already filled out a participant waiver from me, there's nothing else to do!
I will be running this Fitness Series on a seasonal basis (Fall & Spring).
📌Our hike starts at the Bunny Trail adjacent to the Fossil Canyon trailhead. From Bunny, we'll head southwest towards Cat in the Hat on a steady ascent, which can be quite challenging at times. From Cat in the Hat, we’ll head towards the top of Fossil Canyon and from there, make our way down trail and back to the parking lot. Since the goal of this hike is fitness, you'll need to maintain a fast pace.
These hikes are designed to strengthen cardiovascular health and, ultimately, your pace and stamina on the trails. A pin is available for those who participate in the series and attend the final hike, Cowboy Caves & Beyond!
Carry a minimum of 2 L of water, a light snack, & a headlamp or other light source
