📌 Yant Flat is a relatively unknown place with a large rocky area of different patterns and swirls of colors. It’s nicknamed the “Candy Cliffs” because the orange and white colors seem to swirl along the formations. It’s a fairly easy hike to some incredibly unique landscape.
There are no restrooms at the trailhead. There is no water or shade on the hike. Once we reach the sandstone and the trail ends, we can stay together as a group, or you can explore on your own. But wherever we (or you) go, it's imperative to pay attention on how to get back.

The North Las Vegas meetup location near Aliante Casino will be sent by text to the number you provide when you RSVP. We will carpool to a designated location in Leeds, UT. From there we will caravan to the trailhead.
With 10 miles of dirt road, we should have at least one tow rope/winch, shovel, portable air compressor, jack, and lug wrench. Please let me know if you can bring any of those.
All vehicles will likely stop somewhere in the St George area for lunch. If you have a favorite place suitable for a group, please let me know.
Nevada is Pacific Time; Utah is Mountain Time, one hour ahead.
