VegasJS #56: Let's build!

Hey, let's build something together!

This is the kickoff of a new series here at VegasJS. The concept is simple: over the course of a few meetups we'll work on building a small open source project as a group.

We discussed this idea at the last meetup with a positive response. We think it'll be a cool way for folks of all skills levels to get their hands dirty by working on a real project. If you are new to JavaScript or Open Source we hope it will be a good (gentle) introduction to collaborating on a real-world project with more experienced devs.

Since this will be the first meetup in this series, the agenda will be focused on deciding on what project we should work on. Please come prepared with an idea or two for a small, simple-ish project we can build. As this is a JS group, web app ideas are preferred.

TL;DR: We want to build something as a group, over a few meetups. Bring your ideas to this meetup and we'll all vote on what that project will be!
