Hey! Welcome to VegBuddies, a vegan community where like-minded people in Korea can mingle, meet, and promote veganism.
Why VegBuddies was founded?
- We wanted to build an international community where vegans and non-vegans could come together to bond over their passion for the plant-based lifestyle, learn about and discuss veganism, and share how we live plant-based lives in Korea.
What we will do?
- We will have meals, picnics, potlucks, day trips, game nights, recipe exchanges, and share vegan options around Korea.

Hi, everyone! Please read all of the event details before hitting that RSVP button!
Join us on May 17th at Mangwon Han River Park for an Infinity Yoga x Vegbuddies collaboration: English yoga session and fried vegan chicken picnic. The yoga session will be headed by the amazing Sunhee from Infinity Yoga ([https://www.instagram.com/infinityyogawithsunhee/](Infinity Yoga's Instagram)). We've attended one of her sessions, and we recommend! We recommend you join us for both the yoga session and the picnic, but you can choose to join just one of them.
RULES:
1. Be polite, respectful, and appropriate.
2. Our group promotes ethical treatment of all animals so PLEASE don't bring in animal-derived foods/products.
3. Observe boundaries. Don't make others uncomfortable.
4. Don't be a no-show. You prevent others from joining the event.
**If anyone breaks these rules, please talk to the hosts. These meetups are meant to be safe, inclusive, and comfortable. Anyone breaking these rules may be asked to leave.**Here are the details of the meetup:
Date: May 17th, 2025 (Saturday)
Time: 11am
Location: Mangwon Han River Park (exact location in the map below)Yoga details:
- The session will be based on the Indian traditional Hatha style, and it is beginner friendly.
- The session will last 70 minutes.
- The fee for the yoga session is 25,000 KRW. If we get less than 10 people, the fee will be 30,000 KRW, so bring your friends! These are special prices for Vegbuddies members!
- Please bring your own yoga mat or beach towel.
- Infinity Yoga members will have one class deducted from their package instead of paying the yoga fee, but the picnic fee will be separately charged.
Picnic details:
- The picnic will begin at 12:20pm.
- We will order the (vegan) chicken from Kongdyakongdyak (콩댝콩댝).
- The price for the food is 15,000 KRW per person. We will order lots of flavors and share!
- Please bring your own drinks!
Payment
- Please pay based on which events you want to join.
- Just yoga: 25,000 (30,000 if less than 10 people)
- Just picnic: 15,000
- Both: 40,000 (45,000 if less than 10 people)

- If you'd like to pay via PayPal, please notify Zack.
- If your name on Meetup and your name on PayPal/bank account are different, please notify Zack.
- You can get a full refund if you cancel at least 48 hours before the event. After that, there will be no refunds.
If you love animals or want to act better for the environment, please join us! You don't need to be vegan to participate. Please RSVP via Meetup to let us know you'll be joining. You're welcome to bring friends, but please specify in your RSVP! Hope to see you there!
