I can see why the group is remaining "neutral" about pit bulls. I didn't realize that the inherant viciousness or nonviciousness of the breed was such a heated topic. Thanks for posting the "pitties" commentary. I actually did not know about the "nanny dog" history of the breed. Think I'll read up on that a bit.
Hope Lyric is getting better and they find the irresponsible owner of the pitbull which attacked her, and hope this doesn't give her a lifelong fear of dogs as it almost did me after a similar incident as a child (involving a different breed). The article and posting about Lyric definitely caught my attention because I was badly bitten as a child by another breed and almost blinded.
