Living Lightly

This is the first in a series of half-day courses where we enjoy some Meditation, inspiring teaching based on Buddha's words of wisdom, and afterwards enjoy a yummy vegetarian lunch together. Come to one or all of the classes.

Sometimes life can feel like a heavy burden. Learn how to overcome anxiety and develop a flexible approach to life through changing our understanding of and relationship to the people and situations around us. Through meditation methods, we can discover how to experience an inner joy and well-being that can be applied practically in daily life.

Practical solutions for times when we feel jealous of people with the things we want, or protective of our loved ones’ affection for others.

Time: 11:30-2:30pm (Meditation, teaching, and breaks)

Janet Kawano began her Buddhist studies with the Kadampa Tradition in the UK 15 years ago. She now resides in Tokyo with her husband. Her thoughtful yet joyful approach to Buddha’s teachings enable her to empathize with students and help them with their daily problems.
