Ann Arbor - Dinner Meetup at Tios Mexican Cafe
Details
March is Eat for Impact month in Ann Arbor and it is being organized by an Arbor Arbot high school student. The Eat for Impact initiative is focused on working with local food service businesses to offer climate-friendly, plant-based specials to make climate-friendly eating more accessible.
Join us for an amazing dinner at Tios Mexican Cafe, one of the participating restaurants to celebrate climate-friendly, plant-based options, and to support Eat for Impact.
The refried beans and Spanish Rice at Tios is always vegan, and many of their dishes can easily be made plant-based.
For Eat for Impact month, they are offering two vegan specials:
- Cauliflower Pibil- braised and seared cauliflower in a traditional Oaxacan sour orange sauce served with raspberry avocado, tomato relish and black beans, and
- Portobello mushroom tacos- portobello mushrooms roasted in garlic and olive oil topped with housemade giardiniera on soft corn tortilla.
