Magnificent Vegan Lunch and FREE Tuba X-mas Concert at Tempe Marketplace!

There are a small number of tables and chairs around the Christmas Tree by the performance stage (near H&M). We’ll get our food "to go" from the restaurant of choice join us by the tree starting at 1pm. Then stay for the (optional) FREE concert which starts at 2:30pm and lasts about an hour.

2024 is the 51st year of Merry TUBACHRISTMAS! events which are presented throughout the world. TUBACHRISTMAS was conceived in 1974 by Harvey Phillips as a tribute to his teacher and mentor William J. Bell, born on Christmas Day, 1902. Since the first TUBACHRISTMAS was conducted by Paul Lavalle in New York City’s Rockefeller Plaza Ice Rink, musicians of all ages have gathered annually to perform traditional Christmas music arranged by American composer Alec Wilder on the tuba and euphonium. https://tubachristmas.com/
