Every month we will come together to share a meal and a movie .
The series aims to inspire attendees to explore health-forward, environmentally conscious choices while enjoying meaningful conversation and cinema.

Join us for a special Soup & Cinema night co-hosted with SDARJ featuring the celebrity-filled documentary They’re Trying to Kill Us, produced by Chris Paul and Billie Eilish. The film features voices including Ne-Yo, Tabitha Brown, Pinky Cole, and John Salley, along with respected medical experts such as Dr. Ruby Lathon and Dr. Milton Mills — both of whom have spoken at Rehoboth Beach VegFest.

Bringing together dozens of experts, medical professionals, and researchers, the film explores the connections between diet-related disease, racial disparities, and food access — and how plant-based nutrition can help build healthier, more equitable communities. 🍲🎬🌱

Seating is limited! **Reserve your seat today! **Attendees may come for the film only (donations of any amount requested) or come for the meal as well. Chakra's Cafe: Veggie Cuisine & Vegan Bakery will be serving vegan gumbo with rice and cornbread. (Gluten-free option available upon request)

"Soup and Cinema" is a collaboration with the TAPTF Society.
We will be collecting non-perishable plant-based goods at every Soup and Cinema night for TAPTF Society.

Every ticket for Soup and Cinema on April 7th and May 5th will be entered into a drawing for a painting by Dr. Aysha Akhtar!

Tickets must be reserved in advance to ensure adequate food is prepared!
