A shortish hilly mid week ride from Dalkeith High School heading south up to the village of Fala, then east to Humbie (where we will catch a coffee) and return in two loops.

Start point at Dalkeith High School / Community Campus (first left at the traffic lights heading East after Aldi's) and just at the start of the large car park area within the school grounds (near the Sustans sign). (EH22 2PS)
Car parking if you need to bring a car, is usually ok within the school grounds. Or nearby in local housing estate.

Ride Information:
Bike type: road (or gravel if you want an extra workout)
Distance: 25 miles
Elevation: 1959'
Surface type: all road - some busy and some quiet.

Pace: social - at the pace of the slowest rider and averaging approx 12mph. Newcomers welcome :-)

Coffee: Humbie Hub (table will be booked once numbers confirmed).

Essentials: helmet, layers (including waterproofs), snacks, water, spare tube/tools, emergency contact number, means of getting home in the event of a puncture / mechanical, a bike lock if you have one, card or cash payment, banter .... (and maybe just maybe some sunscreen!).

This ride as usual is weather dependant and may be cancelled or route altered so please keep checking for updates the day before the ride.
