🥾Geldrop to Heeze no break hike 14km

This "NS-Wandeling" route takes us through the stunning Strabrechtse Heide, starting from Geldrop to end up in a beautiful nature reserve. The stream of the Kleine Dommel gradually merges into the Strabrechtse Heide “the great silent heather”. At the end, the walking route takes you past the castle of Heeze.

🚶‍♂️ Pace of the Hike
Don't let the distance fool you, because we’ll keep a steady pace and aim to walk continuously without breaks unless it is absolutely necessary. Please join only if you’re comfortable maintaining this pace for the full distance. This hike is more about a smooth, steady walk than a relaxed experience.

🥾What’s the plan?
We’ll start at Geldrop Station, following the NS trail. Along the way, we’ll pass by Kleine Dommel valley, castle of Heeze, and the Plaetse (reconstructed old Brabant square). It’s a peaceful hike with plenty of nature and tranquillity.

📍When and where to meet?
We’ll meet at Geldrop Train Station at 11:30 AM.

🏁 Finish
We’ll end the hike at Heeze Train Station — this is a point-to-point hike.

🚗 Coming by car?
There is parking near Geldrop Station. You can take a short train ride back to your car from the finish point in Heeze.
