OVERVIEW:
ONE DAY TRIP
WORK on the Boronda Trail. We will start just up from the bottom. This trail is completely overgrown with genista and other invasives. This will be a good introduction to trailwork.
THE WORK
Use hand tools and weed wrenches to clear invasive genista. Come join us! There is work for all abilities. Beginner to expert. Tools and instruction provided. The work location has some poison oak but you could avoid it.
MEET: Boronda Trailhead. When you pass Big Sur Station, check your odometer. Go approximately 5.5 miles south from Big Sur Station. The Boronda Trailhead is also 0.5 miles south of the Coast Gallery (closed). You will see a wooden fence on the right side of the road. And a small turnout on the left side of the road.
