Details
OVERVIEW:
THE HIKE IN:
Meet 9am at the Santa Lucia Trailhead (South End) parking lot. This is the end of the Santa Lucia trail that STARTS near MEMORIAL PARK CAMPGROUND. A link to Memorial Park campground directions are above. The TRAILHEAD PARKING we will meet at is on the right side, a few hundred yards before the campground.
Hike up to 2 miles one way, with the first area to work being about a mile in. We will work until 4pm then hike back to our vehicles to drive 3 miles to our campsite.
On the second day we will pack up our camp after breakfast before driving back to the trailhead. We will hike up to 3 miles one way and continue brushing and saw two Oak trees.

WHAT TO BRING:
If you have a favorite pair of work gloves, safety glasses, or hard hat then bring them. Otherwise we will provide those along with the tools.

There will be water on the trail to filter but NO WATER AT THE CAMPSITE. Bring what water you will need for the car camp. At the car camp there will plenty of room for tents or sleeping in vehicles so bring what set up you prefer.
