Paddleboards and Kayaking!

Since it was so much fun last time, I figure we could try some of these kayaking and also paddleboarding rental spots to enjoy the harbor! Channel Islands harbor is one of the best with its great chill views and small town beach feel.

Dress in swim clothes or anything you don't mind getting wet, and when we check in we'll sign some forms and listen to the instructors etc regarding where in the Harbor we can go to, safety or paddling tips. We will launch at around 1020-230am-ish to give folks time to park and stuff.

Also if you have your own kayak or paddleboard I think you can launch there with us too. Please know how to swim if that wasn't obvious hah, in case you fall in. Although they do have lifejackets too.

Single kayak $12.50/hr
Double kayak $20/hr
SUP $25/hr

Bring a hat, extra layers, ID (for rental), water, water proof bag if you have it, and a change of clothes. Your butt will get wet. If you prefer not to wear shoes you can leave them on the dock before getting into the kayak. If you haven’t tried it before, I promise it’s not scary. We’ll give everyone a few minutes to orient themselves to paddling before we start exploring.
