4th of July Fireworks!

Let's enjoy this 4th of July by checking out the fair and fireworks at 9pm at the beautiful waterfront near the Channel Island Harbor. 🎇

If you want to come early, just comment on the page. There's normally a big farmers market with food, games, and a chill vibe, and there's plenty of places to grab a bite and hang out.

🚤 Also there may be a boat parade from 2 to 4pm too, but our goal is to meet around 530 to hold a spot, and then folks can come and go to do what they want until the fireworks happen in the evening. Bring a blanket to sit on and a jacket. 🥪 You’re welcome to bring some snacks or some takeout from a spot nearby.

🅿️ 🚙 I found parking at 3333 Peninsula Rd, Oxnard, CA 93035, next to the Hampton by Hilton, but it’s the parking to Peninsula Park. Don’t park at Hilton since it’s permitted.

🅿️ Other good spots to check are the residential areas on Peninsula Road. Keep in mind it will be busier this weekend, so come a little early to find parking. You may need to walk a bit if those lots are full.

Come by any time before dusk, but obviously the later you come the harder it will probably be to grab a parking spot or you may have to walk further away.
