Welcome to Ventura County Guitar & Worship! Whether you're a seasoned guitarist or just starting out, this meetup is for you. We gather to share our love of music, play guitar, and worship. Join us for jam sessions of current worship songs. Connect with like-minded acoustic guitar players and dive into the world of praise and worship music.

My goal is to inspire and develop guitar playing for those who are involved with worship, want to learn new worship songs, or just want to play guitar with others. The group is not to teach guitar but to help develop technique and learn new songs. I hope to have guests at times share techniques, strategies, songs, experiences, etc. You will learn new songs, make friends, and make new connections. It will be held once a month.

Participants will need to bring a 6 string guitar. It can be acoustic or electric but the group is tailored for acoustic playing. You will also be expected to know basic open chords in addition to bar chords and how to strum. You will need to be able to tune your guitar and have a capo.
