Mission Ridge
Inspiration Point Trailhead, Spyglass Ridge Road, Santa Barbara, CA, USMission Ridge from Tunnel Trail: 4 hours; 5.5 miles; 1500ft elevation gain. Moderate - strenuous in parts.
We’ll meet at Inspiration Point Trailhead, take the first gnarly stretch of Tunnel Trail, cross Mission Ridge and return down Edison Catway. Beautiful views from the peak onwards. The ridge section is a steep primitive trail with some mild boulder hopping but it's sooo purty. Group limit of 15. Bring lunch and plenty of water.
This hike is accessible to anyone who can hike five miles. The pace will be moderate; no-one will be left behind, but you do hike at your own risk. The ten essentials are always recommended, but skip the emergency shelter. Check back a week before for any route/condition updates.
A yellow card system will be applied to anyone overheard discussing wellness, fasting, glucose monitors, or triathlon times. Sorry, no dogs.
Meet at the trailhead at 9:00 AM: please carpool if possible. We leave promptly. If you’re running late, text, and I’ll try to accommodate. Matt 805 259 8926.3 attendees
