Total Length: 4 Miles
Estimated Time: 2 hours
Elevation Gain: 1000 Feet
It’s that time of year when the sun sets late and we can do some easy local evening hikes. Here is a favorite at Harmon Canyon. Renamed from the 110 trail to Morris Family Trail. We will meet at the trailhead right by the parking lot, make our way up Harmon canyon road, and look back on the Morris Family Trail.
Bring: Water, hat, shoes with grip, bug repellent
Parking: The parking lot is off of McVittie Place. McVittie Place is a paved street with a clear street sign. You will turn off of Foothill road onto McVittie place. Immediately after you turn onto McVittie you will see the official entrance to the parking lot on the right. The parking lot is a dirt road that has clear signage. If your navigation is directing you to a dirt road, directly off of foothill (without going on McVittie first), that is not the parking lot. McVittie is slightly to the left of a couple unmarked dirt roads.
After: For those who have time for dinner, we'll head over to Two Trees Restaurant
