We are so excited to host the second True Crime & Chill! This week is all about an unsolved cruise ship disappearence, a mysterious car accident, a wealthy family double murder and a notorious strange cult!

If you are new to the group, each meeting will consist of pre-planned topics. We will be discussing/ theorizing the cases below!

Case 1: Known as one of the most mysterious missing person cases, Maura Murray (born May 4, 1982) disappeared on the evening of February 9, 2004, after a car crash on Route 112 near Woodsville, New Hampshire, a village in the town of Haverhill.

Case 2: Amy Lynn Bradley (born May 12, 1974) is an American woman who went missing during a Caribbean cruise on the Royal Caribbean International cruise ship Rhapsody of the Seas in late March 1998 while en route to Curaçao.[1] Her whereabouts remain unknown to this day. She was a 23-year-old Longwood University graduate at the time of her disappearance. There have been more more recent alleged sightings of Amy- which will be discussed in the meet.

Case 3: The Murdaughs are a prominent family in South Carolina, until a fatal boating accident begins the unraveling of their legacy; Maggie Murdaugh and son Paul are later found murdered, bringing to light a century of corruption, power and cover-ups. This case is very relevant due to the new updates on it that we will also discuss!

Cult: Twin Flames

Based in Suttons Bay, Michigan.. some experts call it a "self-help and wellness cult". The group was run by Jeff and Shaleia Divine and is based on New Age spiritualism about soulmates that became popular in the 2000s.

Escaping Twin Flames reveals the nightmarish stories of manipulation and coercion within the organization, including exclusive access to former members who recount how they were encouraged to stalk the supposed objects of their affection and maniuplate their gender identities.

The documentary features real-life testimony from former members and family of those who remain involved. Some say the documentaries are "spellbinding" and "fascinating", but others say the depth of emotional pain expressed by former members is hard to watch.
