Join us for Science After Hours: Fright Nite at The Franklin Institute for an adults-only evening of spooky science, movie magic, creepy surprises, and after-hours museum exploration!
Tickets are $40 for non members and $35 for members.

🎬 SECRET CINEMA: Vintage Film, Big-Screen Frights!

Get ready for a special cinematic experience! ALL SECRET CINEMA PRESENTATIONS ARE SHOWN IN 16mm (or larger!) FILM ON A GIANT SCREEN — NOT VIDEO, NOT EVER!

The Secret Cinema features selections from their archive including Halloween-themed cartoons, classic horror movie trailers, documentaries about the supernatural, gory surgical footage, and other wonderfully weird surprises!

Everything is projected from rare 16mm film prints onto the spectacular big screen. It’s a chance to experience vintage cinema the way it was meant to be seen!

🍔🍸 Food & Alcohol: Food and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase during the event.

👻 Meet & Mingle: Enjoy a Halloween-themed night out while connecting with fellow Meetup members.

✨ Come for the science, stay for the scares, and leave with some new friends!

🚗 Parking Options:

  • On-site garage: Located at 271 N. 21st Street. Approximately $25 per vehicle; spaces are limited.
  • Street parking: Metered spaces may be available on nearby streets. Many nearby meters end at 8 p.m., but hours and restrictions vary by block. Check posted signs carefully.
  • Tip: Consider arriving early or carpooling with fellow Meetup members!
