Sarah Kiss ist Designerin und Künstlerin aus Berlin. Ihr künstlerischer Fokus liegt auf der Darstellung alltäglicher Momente und Motive, die oft als banal gelten.
Ihre Ausstellung «Candid Moments» hinterfragt den Perfektionismus moderner Fotografie und den Wert von Bildern in einer digitalen Welt. Durch scheinbar misslungene Motive, die mit einer humorvollen Note das Geschehen vor und nach dem Foto in den Vordergrund rücken, steht die Authentizität der Darstellungen im Fokus. Die Malerei wird dabei zum Medium, um die Fragilität eines flüchtigen Moments im Kontrast zur dauerhaften Präsentation der Kunst hervorzuheben.
Die Ausstellung findet vom 01. bis zum 28. November statt.

Sarah Kiss is a designer and artist from Berlin. Her artistic focus is on the depiction of everyday moments and motifs that are often considered banal.
Her exhibition «Candid Moments» questions the perfectionism of modern photography and the value of images in a digital world. Through seemingly unsuccessful motifs, which bring the events before and after the photo to the fore with a humorous touch, the focus is on the authenticity of the depictions. Painting becomes a medium to emphasize the fragility of a fleeting moment in contrast to the permanent presentation of art.
The exhibition runs from November 1 to 28.
The vernissage begins at 17:30.
