📍 SUMMER LOCATION!!! - Tecolote Shores – Near the Public Gazebo by the Water, San Diego

We will be either in the Gazebo or at public benches near it depending. Message or email me if you don't see us. Look for the sign that says "Vert Count Collective Sketchgroup."

🕛 Every Sunday | 12 PM – 2:30PM
Join us for a relaxed sketch session geared toward aspiring and practicing game/visual development artists. We’ll be sketching fundamentals, character concepts, creatures, weapons, environments, or anything we feel inspired to draw. Come draw with us!

✅ This is an open invitation so feel free to come even if you have what you perceive as a low skill level. This is for everyone.

🎮 Hosted by Joseph Peña, a 17+ year veteran of the AAA video game industry, with experience as a lead and senior character artist, manager, and developer. His career includes work on Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, multiple NBA2K releases, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, and Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2.

Through his work, Joseph has led teams, guided production pipelines, and mentored artists at every level. Today, he focuses on career coaching through Vert Count Collective
