Planning session

Join us at one of three planning sessions in the month of August to brainstorm possible directions for this meetup. I've got several ideas for things we could do:

• Create a professional learning community for teachers who are interested in developing curriculum.

• Create a study group to take a deep dive into learning theory and education. For example, I've been re-reading John Dewey recently and reconstructing vertical learning theory on top of his thinking.

• Create a study group around a topic of shared interest, and develop advanced learning skills and explore vertical learning theory along the way.

These are just suggestions and I'm eager to hear what other people want to do. If you have some thoughts and can't come to a planning session, please feel free to leave a comment or send me a direct message.
