Welcome to Veterans in Analytics(TM) (VIA). We're a group of vets who work in data, dabble in it, or are just starting to explore the field. Some of us are analysts, data scientists, or engineers. Others are in adjacent roles or just curious. All of us have a shared background in service and an interest in making sense of data.
This group exists to bring together veterans in the Greater Philly area who want to connect, trade stories, swap ideas, and help each other grow. Whether you're established in your career or just getting started, you’ll find folks here who get it and want to see you succeed.
Our meetups are relaxed and low-pressure. Sometimes we’ll have speakers or panels. Sometimes it’ll just be good conversation and a chance to talk shop. You don’t need to know everything, and you don’t need to impress anyone. Just show up, be real, and be ready to connect with people who’ve walked a similar path.
