The Military and Me: Why being prepared doesn't mean just showing up for work

Ross Rondeau is a former United States Marine. In the past 20 years, he has gained experience in various fields, including Software Engineering Leadership, application development, administration, security, and customer care. Ross has been at Northwestern Mutual for 12 years and is currently an Assistant Director of Software Engineering. Ross grew up in Wausau, Wisconsin. After serving in the Marine Corps for six years, Ross moved to Greendale and then Cudahy, where he lives with his wife of 8 years and four dogs. Ross enjoys learning new things and applying lessons learned in practical ways. Since 2020, Ross has several certifications, including a Master of Information Science and Technology (MSIST) from UWM, AWS Developer Associate (AWS SDA), AWS Solutions Architect Associate (AWS-SAA), AWS Solutions Architect Professional (AWS-SAP), ISC2 - Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) as well as mentoring others. Ross is currently enrolled at UWM to get his MBA.
