WE'RE BACK Y'ALL! Due to some recent donations by incredible supporters, VGVS is back on Meetup in 2026! We're so excited to share all our new free workshops, paid courses, events, challenges, and other programming, and we look forward to meeting and collaborating with many new creators in the months to come!
THIS IS THE EUROPE MEETUP GROUP! It's open to anyone anywhere but will include our online workshops and other events with times that work best in eastern hemisphere time zones such as London/BST, and zones within a few hours of GMT/UTC. If you're on the other side of the Atlantic, it's best to join the North America group for US/Canada time zones. If you are in or near Indianapolis, Indiana, you may want to join the Indy Chapter group instead so you will also see local events in that area!

The Venturous Guild of Visionary Storysmiths (VGVS) is an international creative collective committed to growing a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative community of empowered artists. We are a nonprofit organization that provides free resources, workshops, mentorship, and safe spaces for creators to hone their skills, build their confidence, and share their stories. The Guild is open to teen and adult creators of any kind who work in any medium. Your passions may include writing & poetry, print & digital art, photography, film, music, fashion design, dance, theater & performing arts, graphic & game design, and more!
Our Discord server is our main communications hub where we come together from all over the world to hang out, inspire and motivate each other, and collaborate on projects! It's a super chill space where we can chat between workshops, share resources, get writing and art prompts, complete challenges, ask for help, share current work-in-progress for feedback, and more. Note that the majority of our free workshops and events such as weekly Creative Writing Discussions, bi-monthly Creativity Jam Sesh, and Moon Meditations on new and full moons happen IN the Discord server in The Tavern voice channel! Moon Meditation
·OnlineOnline30-minute Moon Meditations for grounding and creative inspiration will be held in our Discord server on most new and full moons throughout the year. Times will vary as they will coincide with the actual minute the moon is new or full, so there should be opportunities that work for everyone in every time zone over the course of the year!
If you're not yet in the VGVS Discord server, be sure to give yourself time to join, read the server rules in the welcome channel, and agree by reacting with the fire emoji so you'll have access to all the channels!

WHAT TO EXPECT: Meet in THE TAVERN voice channel. You may choose to have your camera on or off; mine will be on. These guided meditations are only 30 minutes, so I will jump right in, saving a few minutes for introductions at the END of the session. Please come in quietly, I recommend with lights low or dimmed, maybe a candle or two burning nearby. (When weather permits, especially when it’s nighttime, it might be nice to be outside!) We’ll focus on slowing our breathing, quieting our brains from all the world noise, and feeling grounded to the earth. I’ll perhaps share moon or other nature-related poetry and art, and I may often pull a tarot or oracle card and read the description to give us a vibe for the session and inspire creative ideas. Have a pen and paper or journal for jotting thoughts and feelings, starting a poem or song or drawing, and answering questions about what you will be adding to your life (new moon) or purging from your life (full moon) this cycle. I’m super excited to be doing these; I’ve needed to work on my own grounding and connecting to nature for a long while, and I think it will be lovely to connect with each other at the same time! ~Angie

Tavern Jam

Our 2-hour Tavern Jam is twice a month on first and third Saturdays! This is a creativity jam sesh for all artists, writers, musicians, whatever! Pop in to get prompts, collab on projects, or just hang out and create stuff together!

Creative Writing Discussion
·OnlineOnline90-minute Creative Writing Discussions will be held in our Discord server in THE TAVERN voice channel at a different time each Thursday to allow for writers in different time zones to participate at least once a month! Bring whatever projects you're working on to update everyone on your progress, ask for insight and feedback, and brainstorm ideas!

Angie Tonucci's next Dream Training course is scheduled to start Monday 25 May and continue on Mondays at 7pm London Time until the last session on 13 July. The registration form for these course dates is ready! If Monday evenings work for you, you can submit the interest form below, and Angie will send you the registration form to complete and pay the course fee. If you are NOT available for these specific course dates but are interested in a future course, submit the interest form to share your availability, and Angie will let you know when the next course is scheduled. YOU DO NOT NEED TO PAY FOR THE COURSE HERE ON MEETUP!!! The fee is listed so those interested know the cost up front, but you will not be charged until you sign up for your specific course dates at registration.
This is a comprehensive 8-week course for artists and writers that teaches tips and tricks for increasing dream recall, becoming and staying lucid while dreaming, gaining control of the dreamscape, and utilizing this incredible magical experience to inspire creation! The course includes 12 hours of training (virtual via Zoom) over the course of eight 90-minute sessions, homework assignments between sessions to increase recall, record dreams, and practice reality checks, and permanent access to a Discord server for resources, writing & art prompts, sharing & processing dreams, and open discussion.
