Vibe Code Seattle Meetup
Details
Vibe Coding like a Pro
Due to demand, we will revisit last month's presentation with some refinements.
In this session, we will explore how to effectively build production apps using tools such as Replit and Claude. You cannot develop apps with just one prompt. Don't be misled by all the clickbait on YouTube. Even if it were possible, such an approach would eliminate the valuable learning and innovation that occur during app development.
**Agenda for Vibe Code Success:**
1. What is vibe coding, really?
2. What constitutes an innovative idea, and how do you evolve it? Are you prepared for ambiguity and exploration? It's important to understand that you cannot pre-design everything or create perfect prompts, and that's perfectly fine.
3. How to prepare the AI by establishing context, including:
- Business Goals
- Basic UX and Art Design
- Fundamental Coding Guidelines for AI
4. Essential web app knowledge that you must understand to avoid production disasters.
5. How to break down your project into manageable chunks.
6. Vibe Coding! Focus on one piece at a time, code it, test it, and then repeat.
7. What is regression testing, and what does it mean to launch to production?
4.Open Discussion
