If you've been looking for a sign to finally try building something with AI, this is it!
We're bringing Vibe coding to Norwich for the very first time.
Join us for a beginner-friendly evening of building with AI, meeting new people, and creating a personal project.
Your guide for the evening is Alex Hort-Francis, a software engineer at UCL, who enjoys exploring new tools, building in public, and making tech feel approachable for everyone.
Complexity
⭐ (1/3 stars). No coding background required!
You'll team up in small groups and build something together. Make an app, a game, a website, or whatever idea you come up with. There's no pressure to finish or ship anything. The goal is simply to experiment and have fun.
Who’s it for?
Anyone curious about AI, wanting to try vibe coding, or just likes creating things. If you're mostly coming for the people, and an excuse to build something gloriously silly, that's a perfectly good reason too :))
What to bring? Laptop and vibes!
Schedule
- 6:00 – Hello world from Alex
- 6:15 – Intro to vibe coding + challenge assignment 🤝
- 6:30 – Round 1: Build together 💻
- 7:15 – Break (meet new people, swap ideas)
- 7:30 – Round 2: Keep building
- 8:30 – Optional demos 📺
- 9:00 – Hang out, network, make friends ✌️
No pressure, no gatekeeping. Just people playing with tools together.
Vibe Coding Collective is a global community helping anyone turn ideas into working software with AI. We host relaxed social coding jams in bars, cafés, and maker spaces. Whether you're a developer or have never written a line of code, you'll fit right in!
