Welcome to our September meetup in Helsinki, arranged together with SOK.

Schedule:
17:00 Doors open!

17:30 Welcome words by organizers and SOK

17:40 "AI and out evolving relationship with practice", Alex Culliere, Senior developer, SOK

Generative AI is a divisive technology. For every excited voice, speaking about novel
use-cases, tools and ways of working; there always seems to be the opposing voice, condemning the technology as unethical, unsustainable or unpractical.

It may also seem like our adoption of this tech outpaces our ability to understand its potential
and think about this more strategically. For a lot of us, this can turn excitement into anxiety.
In my talk I am trying to address this anxiety by:

  • sharing my experience using agentic development in two controlled experiments;
  • interrogating technical and cultural context of this technology, and viewing it through a more metaphysical and emotional lens;
  • professing my love for digital piracy;
  • sharing one of my favourite fairy tales.

In a room full of elephants it may be hard to take a breath. Lets try to catch ours!

*5 min break*

18:15 "Same model, different results — how to get the most out of your coding agent” by Miikka Salomaa, AI-native developer & consultant, founder of Ohjelmistofriikit

Everyone has the same models. Not everyone ships the same code. The difference is context — the one variable you control.
This talk breaks an agent's context into three layers: the environment it works in, the spec you hand it, and the verifier that decides when the work is actually done.
Technical, concrete and tool-agnostic.

*5 min break*

18:50 "Agent orchestration for a non-technical founder & DIY company brain", Kaisa Vaittinen is founder & CEO of evaluoi.ai and Safety in Relationships, and a generalist with ADHD traits

Running two companies alone requires structure to avoid things getting out of control. How does multi-agent workflow work, and how did a non-technical founder get to this point

19:30 Mingling / free discussion etc

20:00 Doors close
